What To Expect
Laguna di Venezia
An amazing tour kayaking tour through the secret hidden natural spots of the Venetian Lagoon. Your experienced guide will lead you through wild marsh. You will have a chance to see the wild nature of the Lagoon uninterrupted. This 3 hour tour includes gear, experienced guide and kayak tutorial. Expect 2 1/2 hours of paddling.

Isola di Sant'Erasmo
We will pass Fort Sant Andrea and move to Sant Erasmo to observe the marine life from our kayaks where the guides will give a detailed explanation of the marine life in the lagoon and we may be able to see some if conditions are clear. From there we will paddle to Sant Erasmo through the hidden and small channels where we will then depart to the salt marshes near Vignole, paddle around Vignole then arrive back to the island of Certosa through a hidden canal.

Great Birding on the Venice Lagoon

My wife and I toured the lagoon with Venice Kayak on our honeymoon. We told our guide, Max, at the start that we were birders, and he did a great job of concentrating on that aspect of the experience without forgetting to include interesting stories about the human and natural history of the area.
Fortune was with us and we got to see a couple of Greater Flamingoes in the wild, as well as a host of other water fowl and a few predators.
Max was easy going and fun to be with, and took a lot of photos along the way. All in all, the tour was one of the highlights of our Venice vacation.

We loved being in the lagoon away from the chaos of the canals. Alberto did a great job share his insight and history of the area. We definitely enjoyed this tour.

JP and Mike were excellent. Mike guided us at a good pace that matched my preferences. These are full-on ocean kayaks so they are fast. And yet, they are also very stable. Mike's knowledge of Venecia history and architecture was top rate: I have been to Venice now about 6 times, and with Venice Kayak about 4 times in a row. Once we left Venice, Mike also was Very very knowledgeable about the ecology of the lagoona and its wildlife. Finally, we had an Excellent lunch at the halfway point, and Mike provided memorable photos...for free. On returning to Certosa, JP had Prosecco and snacks waiting!
Looking forward to my fifth trip with Venice Kayak in 2023, when I come back to teach at the local University in Venice.

Amazing experience, would 100% recommend to anyone visiting. The staff and guide were extremely friendly and we had an awesome day kayaking through the lagoon of Venice.

Highly recommend Venice kayaking. From the monument we arrive on the island til we departed they made our experience fantastic. Thank you Jean Paul for your hospitality and going over and above (San Lazzaro was better than we hoped and I think you personally for that) and Massimo for being a great guide and giving us an experience to remember for all times. Who ever thought we’ll be kayaking down the Venice canals, not us!. Equipment provided, was clean and not smelly (and if you know about wet sports if you don’t take care of your equipment it can get moldy smelling) and in great condition. Excellent English with no problems understanding each other. I think we found ourselves in many tourist photos when people saw us kayaking down the canals
