Our first time in Venice, a tick off the bucket list and was well worth it!

Our experience was magnificent, the gentleman taking us round gave us English speaking history.

My husband and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with a gondola ride in Venice. It was perfect, including the weather.

Not impressed - no commentary, had no idea where we were going. Gondolier was very curt and not at all friendly.

The staging area for the trip was confusing and not organized. We were delayed by 20 minutes. Once we we were in a gondola all was good.

Alright gondola ride

The gondola ride is pretty much a must do in Venice. We went round the canals and it was nice to have the gondola to ourselves and be able to take pictures.

Although the trip round the canals was nice we didn't see any of the "touristy places" and the location to meet was further away than we realised.

It was an alright Gondola ride can't complain but I'd recommend checking if you want to specifically see certain things and where it is in relation to your location.
