This was an amazing yet challenging experience....the tides and currents were strong.... I absolutely loved it ... kayaking through the back streets/ cannels of Venice and out into the sea.

it opens a really enlightening new perspective on the city if you have to navigate the water yourself (and gives you even more respect for the gondoliere) - very interesting background stories too!

Great way to see Venice. Really enjoyed the experience. Matteo is a great affable guide who made the experience more enjoyable.
We were able to paddle through the smaller, less traveled, touristy canals to get a more authentic feel of the city.

A very special and fun way to experience Venice. While paddling through the canals our very friendly guide explained the history of the area and gave us an interesting insight of life in Venice. Highly recommended!

I was so excited for this kayaking trip! Our guide was very friendly, however, due to it being five people if you were in the back you couldn't hear anything the guide was saying. We missed out on a lot of the history and the storytelling that went along with the tour. We also went into the Venetian lagoon which I was not expecting. I thought we were staying in the canals. I'm an experienced kayaker but I was with others that weren't. It was very challenging with the wakes from the water taxis and other boats in the larger water with people who didn't know how to control their kayak. They were crashing into me. It just wasn't the experience I had expected.
