The stories we will tell are thanks to the support from Alberto Toso Fei, the author of several mystery books. You will visit the spots that have shaped these mysterious Venetian legends all from your kayak.
Listen to the stories of witches, apparitions & wizards that Venetians love sharing. You may even jump out of your kayak!

Great way to explore Venice, much better than a Gondola ride.

Great way to explore Venice, much better than a Gondola ride. We were a group of 3 amateur kayakers (including a 16 yr old girl) and had little problem paddling. Just beware that it requires some strenuous paddling at times, especially when crossing the navigation channel. Like someone said in another review...this is not your grandma's tour.
Besides the expected kayak/paddle, we were also suited up with a life vest, waterproof jacket, water shoes and kayak skirt cover. All in great condition. Giovanni was an excellent guide and made sure we were safe maneuvering through boat/gondola traffic. He even managed to take great pictures of us with his own camera, which he later emailed to us.
This business is run by some very friendly, interesting and experienced individuals who made us feel very welcome. JP the director even treated us to some Cola and chips afterwards and we shared his awesome life experiences with us.
We highly recommend this experience.
Unique experience for a great value

The experience with Venice Kayak was great from start to finish. The entire crew were friendly and very accommodating.
The venue was easy to find; it was located right on a public transit water-taxi stop. Water and a sun glass chain were complimentary. There was also an option to shower afterward (these accommodations were new and clean).
Giavonni was our tour guide and was very personable and extremely knowledgeable on the local history, architecture, and legends of Venice. We were also able to leave our phones and cameras in a waterproof bag and he took photos for us that included shots of the group, solo shots while kayaking, and some pictures of scenery only. Unfortunately, the site is not allowing me to upload these at the moment. All of the photos were also included in the price.
The tour did not skimp on time and I would estimate that the entire thing from start to finish by the time you leave and return was actually 4.5 to 5 hrs.
I was traveling solo for this part of my trip and this was great for me because it gave me the chance to socialize. I also did not necessarily want a romantic gondola ride alone, but this tour allowed for a chance to be on the canals.
I would recommend this tour rather than a walking tour. It was a great value and gave information on both history and legends and also included an activity other than walking.
This tour is great for both solo and group travelers. There were only four people in the group so if your group is large enough it could potentially turn into a private tour. Also a good activity for a cruise stopover if or someone with minimal time in the city (I was only in Venice for 1 day).
Great experience all around. I would do it again if I were to go back to Venice.
Thank you to the entire staff!
Fantastic experience

A wonderful way to see the nooks and crannies of Venice's while led by Mike, our very experienced and informative guide. We always felt safe even with busy traffic on the open sea and the whole experience was fun and enjoyable from start to finish. The team at Kayak Venice are great fun and super-organised. We even got some complimentary wine and prosecco at the end of our 3-hour trip. I highly recommend them.
A highlight of our trip

We had an amazing trip with our super knowledgeable and friendly guide. We saw so much and heard such great stories. Also there was great attention to safety. We’d forgotten to bring sun cream but there’s was plenty to borrow, and water shoes, sun hats, glasses straps and phone bags - a very well set up company. And we ended with a surprise glass of bubbly! Would 100% recommend
