Flying into a new country with a different language, this is a must! These guys were waiting for us right out of customs and took us on a private boat right to our hotel. Make sure you get a hotel in Venice that has water portage. You do not want to be dragging your luggage through the streets of Venice to get to your hotel.
We booked this to alleviate all that can go wrong navigating Venice with luggage. The transportation sent a fax to hotel the day prior to and arrived early to pick us up with all our luggage at the hotel door. We were transported to the cruise terminal and assisted getting to check in point at terminal. (the terminal can be a bear if several ships are in port.) Lovely ride, as expected, with no hassles. Stress free and wonderful. would do it again. We had no worries. Booking prior to our trip meant that we had more time to enjoy Venice. Used December 1, 2018. stayed in Duosordoro which is much easier to navigate than more touristy areas.
Since my travel agent did not make transportation arrangements from the hotel in Venice to the Royal Caribbean ship, I had to make them myself. She did, however, recommend that I use Viator. My only question was, why did you only get me the transportation from the hotel to the Venice Port when it was required that I spend another $50+ per person to get a 2 hour + bus from there to the port in Ravenna? Royal Caribbean uses that port which is most inconvenient.... not your fault. Fortunately there was a bus at the Venice port which went to Ravenna. Had that not been there, what would I have done?
