I was traveling alone from San Francisco, California to wrap up a 3 week trip in Europe. I only had 24 hours in Venice so this tour was just what the doctor ordered. I can't say enough about my tour guide Ricardo who was both knowledgeable about the rich history of Venice but was outright one of the nicest people I met during my short stay. One of the best parts of the tour is that he takes you into many hidden canals that regular tour boats may not take you on. He even pulled over so I could hop off for a bathroom break. Sometimes you gotta go. LOL. I would certainly recommend this activity for one to one or small groups. I don't know how many tour guides there are in the company but do yourself a favor and request Ricardo. He is a solid cat that is extremely passionate about his work and Venice. At the conclusion of the tour, I asked Ricardo to accompany me to an ATM so that I could tip him since I didn't have cash. That's how much I enjoyed myself. What a magical way to experience the city on the water.
We really enjoyed the electric bout tour of Venice. The quiet motor made it easy to hear the tour guide give the informative tour with the history of Venice along with the guide pointing out different buildings and areas we passed.
Ricardo was wonderful! He gave us so much interesting information on Venice itself, how it was built, changes and events over thousands of years, etc. We were able to see a side of Venice that we couldn't have otherwise, going into small canals and more out of the way places. The rain started while we were not far into the 1.5 hour trip, but Ricardo kept his sense of humor and his energy up (and gave us Bellinis to warm us up :) . We were able to finish the tour, and afterwards he went out of his way and backtracked so he could drop us off closer to where we were staying. Fun trip, fantastic guide - we highly recommend!
This is amazing! Nice clean electric boat , you can go much further around city than the gondola, no smell of diesel that’s what i like , 1.5 hour !the driver talk about the construction and history of floating city too love it
