In this 6 hour private tour of Venice you will get to visit the main landmarks of the city and take a Gondola ride along the typical canals! Your local guide will pick you up at the Santa Lucia Train Station and then start your journey reaching San Marco Square where you will visit the St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doges Palace, two important buildings of Venice’s history. You will visit them with skip the line tickets already included so can enjoy the sites without waiting in line. Doge's Palace
1 hr 30 min - The Doge’s Palace was initially built in the 800s but then destroyed due to a fire. It was then rebuilt in the 1340s and remains as it was to this day. It is of Gothic architecture and is considered one of Venice’s main landmarks. It was built as the residence of the Doge, the supreme authority of the former Venetian Republic, and today is the site of a museum, including the hidden treasures and passageways of the Doge.
